Posted 9/27/2009Modern Day Fairy Tale-War of the Creator of the Universe vs. Religious Humanism/Individual Autonomy
Once upon a time in a land very near, there were beautiful maidens everywhere. Their beauty captured your attention because you were not distracted by low cut necklines and short hem lines. Mature maidens were a model for the young maidens. Young gentlemen were taught to respect and protect the maidens in the land. Because this is not truly a modern day fairy tale all was not utopia. However, in as much as the maidens and gentlemen respected God's law and order there was harmony in the land.
As it is with all fairy tales a wicked witch rears her ugly head. In our story two related witches began to destroy the unity in the land. So everyone knows what we are talking about we will call our witches Religious Humanism and Individual Autonomy. These two are so closely related it is often difficult to tell which is the husband and which the wife, but there is no doubt that this relationship bore many destructive children such as, Marxism, Darwinism, Existentialism, Pragmatism, and other like offspring.
Although many of the young maidens and young gentlemen in the land trusted in the Creator of the universe, and loved His law, there were many who only lived by His law so that they would not be thought to not believe it. Religious Humanism and Individual Autonomy began their work on these by positioning their offspring in the academies, theaters and other centers of information exchange.
At first those who did not have a relationship with the Creator of the universe began to believe that the land would be a better place if they would discard the outdated values and ethics of a mythical God, and replace them with ideas that would work in the here and now. They rejected the authority of the leaders, one because Religious Humanism made it clear that they were God, and two because Individual Autonomy showed them that no one could tell them what to do.
As more and more individuals became a law unto themselves, disharmony began to reign in the land. Young men no longer respected or protected young women. Young women, in an attempt to regain the respect that they lost began to appeal to the baser desires of the young men. They began to emphasize their physical selves as they rejected the possibility of spiritual beauty. As each individual found his worth in different expressions Marxism taught them to organize into small groups, that could war against the Creator of the universe.
Religious Humanism and Individual Autonomy knew it would become necessary to turn their most powerful son loose in the land. Pluralism taught not only those who hated the Creator of the universe, but those who loved Him, that there could only be harmony in the land once again if everyone would live and let live. When the God lovers accepted the doctrines of Pluralism, they did not realize that this would be the death blow to their system of values and ethics. You see Tyranny cannot survive along side of God's law, therefore he needs to disguise himself as Pluralism so as to destroy the transcendent objective standards of God. That accomplished, Tyranny can reign in the land, forcing unity on all of the people. |
